Re-imaginations has emerged from my observations of how XXI-century humanity abandoned nature for modern technologies. Shot on a medium format film, this project explores the relationship between the fragility of human bodies and the impact that nature’s vital force has on them. These photographs imitate a hallucinatory state achieved by the imposition of nature and physicality. The individuals depicted in the series blend and merge with parts of nature. In other words, they become the tangible parts of the landscape’s dominance in various places across London. The project’s goal is to encourage viewers to redefine their current approach towards nature.
